EU production on the aircraft market showed steady growth over the period under review, rising from 1,601 units in 2007 to 2,283 units in 2014. From 2007 to 2014, it expanded with a CAGR of 5.2%. In value terms, EU aircraft production reached 16.4 billion EUR in 2014, growing 9.7% annually.

The countries with the largest production of airplanes and other aircraft in absolute volumes were Italy (230 units), Germany (190 units), France (168 units) and the Czech Republic (133 units).

Positive dynamics in aircraft production among the main producing countries from 2007 to 2014 were recorded in Germany (+0.4% per year), while for the other two EU leaders (France and the Czech Republic) the pace of growth was more modest or negative. Germany dominated in EU production and trade of airplanes and other aircraft.
