Dry and Evaporated Dairy Product Market - In 2015, the Volume of U.S. Exports of Dry, Condensed, and Evaporated Dairy Products Fell By 16% in Value Terms

The U.S. takes an 11% share (based on USD) of exports on the dry and evaporated dairy product market, which put it in second place, following New Zealand.

A 20% decline in U.S. dry, condensed, and evaporated dairy product exports was followed by rapid four-year growth. However, U.S. exports declined significantly and amounted to 8,097 million USD in 2015, which was 16% below the previous year's value.

In 2015, Canada and Mexico were the main destinations of U.S. dry, condensed, and evaporated dairy product exports, together comprising 33% of U.S. exports. China (6%), the Republic of Korea, the Philippines and Japan (4%) followed. The structure of exports remained relatively stable in the last 4 years, with delivery to Canada accounting for an average of 19% of total exports, and delivery to Mexico for 16%.

From 2007 to 2015, the U.S. was a net exporter of dry, condensed, and evaporated dairy products. Net U.S. dry, condensed, and evaporated dairy product exports showed strong fluctuations over the period under review. Finally, this industry's trade surplus reduced to 5,081 million USD in 2015.
