From 2007 to 2015, global exports on the toy market increased by +5.4% per year, amounting to 34,833 million USD in 2015. In physical terms, exports reached 4,105 thousand tonnes in 2015, an increase of 210 thousand tonnes against the previous year.

In 2015, according to market research conducted by IndexBox, China (15,667 million USD) was the main exporter of dolls and toys in the world, comprising 45% of global exports and remaining the fastest growing exporter.

The Czech Republic assumed second place in this ranking with a 7% share, followed by Germany (5%), the U.S. (3%), the Netherlands (3%), Mexico (3%) and Belgium (2%). While the share of China (+8 percentage points), the Czech Republic (+3 percentage points) and Mexico (+ 2 percentage points) increased significantly, the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

Global export prices for dolls and toys remained relatively stable from 2007 to 2015. The highest annual rates were recorded in Mexico (+11.1%), followed by Belgium (+3.9%), the Czech Republic (+3.9%) and the U.S. (+3.6%).
