Which Countries Produce the Most Cream Fresh?

From 2007 to 2015, the global fresh cream market showed mixed dynamics in value terms. It finally dropped to 5,542 million USD, which was 23% less than the year before. In physical terms, the market was relatively stable with a slight upward trend over the period under review. It reached 3,375 thousand tonnes in 2015.

According to market research conducted by IndexBox, global production of fresh cream was estimated at 3,523 thousand tonnes in 2015. From 2007 to 2015, production of fresh cream reflected positive dynamics, growing with a CAGR of +1.6%. In value terms, production was 5,640 million USD in 2015, which was 1,657 million USD (or 23%) less than the year before. Over the last eight years, production fluctuated wildly due to price changes.

Germany (483 thousand tonnes), France (412 thousand tonnes), Canada (347 thousand tonnes), Russia (337 thousand tonnes), Poland (279 thousand tonnes), and Belgium (236 thousand tonnes) had the largest production of fresh cream in absolute volumes.

Belgium (+7.1% per year) attained the most notable growth rate of fresh cream production among the main producing countries from 2007 to 2015, followed by Canada (+2.2%) and France (+1.7%). Meanwhile, the other three global leaders (Germany, Russia, and Poland) experienced negative paces of growth.
