Broken Rice Price in Croatia (CIF) - 2022

The average broken rice import price stood at $1,417 per ton in 2022, falling by -12.1% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a strong increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 119%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $1,611 per ton in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($1,981 per ton), while the price for India ($1,230 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Pakistan (+12.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for the Netherlands.
