Crude Coconut Oil Price in the Netherlands (CIF) - 2023
The average crude coconut oil import price stood at $1,211 per ton in June 2023, surging by 6% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 60% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $2,045 per ton in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was the Philippines ($1,208 per ton), while the price for Indonesia stood at $1,153 per ton.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Philippines (-3.7%).
Crude Coconut Oil Price in the Netherlands (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average crude coconut oil export price amounted to $2,317 per ton, shrinking by -10.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, enjoyed a measured increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average export price increased by 65%. The export price peaked at $2,578 per ton in 2021, and then fell in the following year.
