The third position in this ranking was taken by Turkey (163K units), with an 11% share.

India, Russia, Japan, Germany, Brazil, Indonesia, France, the United Arab Emirates and Mexico lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 26%.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of production, amongst the main producing countries, was attained by the United Arab Emirates (with a CAGR of +36.8%), while production for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports

World Imports of Dairy Machinery

In 2022, overseas purchases of dairy machinery were finally on the rise to reach 946K units after two years of decline. In general, imports enjoyed a strong increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 73% against the previous year. Global imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

Export Prices By Country

In 2022, the average dairy machinery export price amounted to $6,825 per unit, declining by -22.3% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a pronounced reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 31% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $12,866 per unit. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
