Dried Apricot Price in Uzbekistan (FOB) - 2023
In May 2023, the average dried apricot export price amounted to $1,895 per ton, shrinking by -17.1% against the previous month. Overall, export price indicated modest growth from May 2022 to May 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.6% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on May 2023 figures, dried apricot export price decreased by -30.8% against January 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2022 an increase of 60% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $3,434 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to May 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In May 2023, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($7,007 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ukraine ($800 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From May 2022 to May 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (+38.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average dried apricot import price stood at $362 per ton in 2022, falling by -78.3% against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a dramatic shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 67% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $1,668 per ton in 2021, and then declined sharply in the following year.
