Glass Fibre Voiles Price in China (FOB) - 2021
In December 2021, the average glass fibre voiles export price amounted to $2,232 per ton, dropping by -11.3% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2021 an increase of 29% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $2,597 per ton in July 2021; however, from August 2021 to December 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was India ($3,267 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United States ($1,411 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+10.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Glass Fibre Voiles Price in China (CIF) - 2021
In December 2021, the average glass fibre voiles import price amounted to $5,858 per ton, increasing by 2.1% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a mild increase from December 2020 to December 2021: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on December 2021 figures, glass fibre voiles import price decreased by -38.2% against July 2021 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2021 when the average import price increased by 113% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $10,043 per ton. From February 2021 to December 2021, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($25,955 per ton), while the price for Saudi Arabia ($2,900 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+15.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
