Glass Fibre Voiles Price in France (CIF) - 2021

In November 2021, the average glass fibre voiles import price amounted to $4,019 per ton, falling by -17% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a modest increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in January 2021 when the average import price increased by 43% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $5,072 per ton in September 2021; however, from October 2021 to November 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($9,560 per ton), while the price for Germany ($2,691 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2020 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+6.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Glass Fibre Voiles Price in France (FOB) - 2021

In November 2021, the average glass fibre voiles export price amounted to $7,029 per ton, with a decrease of -6.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price showed a mild contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in August 2021 when the average export price increased by 15% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $9,324 per ton in January 2021; however, from February 2021 to November 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In November 2021, the country with the highest price was the United States ($175K per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($2,514 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2020 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+29.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Glass Fibre Voiles Imports in France

Glass fibre voiles imports into France declined to 14K tons in 2022, which is down by -9.9% against 2021 figures. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 22%. As a result, imports attained the peak of 16K tons, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, glass fibre voiles imports reduced to $51M in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.6% from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 36%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $59M, and then shrank in the following year.
