The average LCDs and plasmas import price stood at $185 per unit in September 2023, jumping by 28% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a noticeable setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 70% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $403 per unit. From April 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($686 per unit), while the price for China totaled $140 per unit.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Vietnam (+1.5%).

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 37% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $53M, and then declined slightly in the following year.
