Liquefied Butanes Price in Singapore (FOB) - 2022

In September 2022, the average liquefied butanes export price amounted to $1,147 per ton, rising by 18% against the previous month. Over the period under review, export price indicated a resilient increase from September 2021 to September 2022: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.2% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on September 2022 figures, liquefied butanes export price increased by +17.7% against August 2022 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2021 an increase of 50% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $1,362 per ton in May 2022; however, from June 2022 to September 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Palau ($2,375 per ton), while the average price for exports to Malaysia amounted to $1,107 per ton.
