At the same time, Norway (+38.3%), Spain (+11.5%), India (+6.5%), China (+1.9%), Turkey (+1.9%) and the Netherlands (+1.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Norway emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +38.3% from 2012-2022. Canada experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, France (-6.4%), Japan (-6.6%), Germany (-6.9%), Sweden (-7.2%) and the United States (-10.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. China (+6.4 p.p.), Norway (+2.1 p.p.), India (+1.9 p.p.) and Italy (+1.6 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the global exports, while the United States and Germany saw its share reduced by -4.5% and -5.7% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Italy ($72M), Germany ($47M) and China ($22M) were the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, together comprising 61% of global exports. The United States, France, Japan, Canada, Sweden, Turkey, India, Norway, the Netherlands and Spain lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 24%.

Norway, with a CAGR of +26.7%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Export Prices By Country

The average liquid fuel furnace burner export price stood at $150 per unit in 2022, stabilizing at the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a slight reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 4.9%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $174 per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
