Pharmaceutical Goods Price in the Netherlands (CIF) - 2022
The average pharmaceutical goods import price stood at $124,687 per ton in 2022, surging by 17% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 40% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($268,961 per ton), while the price for China ($10,514 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ireland (+11.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+2.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.
