The following exporters - Poland (83K tons), Italy (74K tons), Germany (62K tons), Turkey (62K tons), the UK (50K tons), the Netherlands (45K tons), the Philippines (42K tons), the United Arab Emirates (38K tons) and Spain (33K tons) - together made up 23% of total exports.

Exports from China increased at an average annual rate of +10.2% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, the United Arab Emirates (+19.8%), the Philippines (+17.3%), the Netherlands (+12.1%), Turkey (+11.7%), the UK (+10.3%), Spain (+7.1%), Germany (+7.0%), Poland (+6.5%), the United States (+1.8%) and Italy (+1.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the United Arab Emirates emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +19.8% from 2012-2022. While the share of China (+14 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global exports from 2012-2022, the share of Italy (-2.5 p.p.) and the United States (-2.9 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, China ($6.8B) remains the largest plastic household articles supplier worldwide, comprising 58% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the United States ($536M), with a 4.6% share of global exports. It was followed by Germany, with a 4.1% share.
