In value terms, polystyrene in primary forms imports reduced to $6.3B in 2022. In general, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 46%. Global imports peaked at $6.9B in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
