Price for Books, Brochures and Leaflets in Finland (CIF) - 2023
The average books, brochures and leaflets import price stood at $14,950 per ton in June 2023, rising by 7.6% against the previous month. Overall, the import price recorded a moderate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 79% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $24,430 per ton. From March 2023 to June 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Poland ($42,117 per ton), while the price for Hong Kong SAR ($6,541 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+7.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average books, brochures and leaflets export price stood at $8,723 per ton in 2022, shrinking by -2.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated a measured expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, books, brochures and leaflets export price increased by +63.3% against 2017 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 43%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $8,984 per ton in 2021, and then fell modestly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Norway ($14,259 per ton), while the average price for exports to Switzerland ($4,762 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Denmark (+11.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Books, Brochures and Leaflets in Finland
