Price for Calendars and Trade Advertising Material in Portugal (CIF) - 2023
The average import price for calendars and trade advertising material stood at $6,930 per ton in August 2023, increasing by 3.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated resilient growth from August 2022 to August 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.5% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on August 2023 figures, calendars and trade advertising material import price decreased by +0.8% against April 2023 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in September 2022 an increase of 50% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure in August 2023.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was France ($20,845 per ton), while the price for Spain ($3,537 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+12.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In August 2023, the average export price for calendars and trade advertising material amounted to $14,338 per ton, which is down by -2.4% against the previous month. In general, export price indicated slight growth from August 2022 to August 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on August 2023 figures, calendars and trade advertising material export price increased by +43.8% against June 2023 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 an increase of 65% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $15,677 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to August 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($26,306 per ton), while the average price for exports to France ($6,451 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+6.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Calendars and Trade Advertising Material in Portugal
