The average import price for copper; rivets, cotters, cotter-pins and similar articles, not threaded stood at $45,515 per ton in November 2023, dropping by -2.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price saw a perceptible shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 when the average import price increased by 42% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $67,894 per ton. From September 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was China ($155K per ton), while the price for Poland ($10,477 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+11.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
