In 2022, the average import price for cutlery; other than plated with precious metals amounted to $6,909 per ton, growing by 37% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a slight decrease. The import price peaked at $8,316 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Romania (-3.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Overall, exports showed significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 261%. Over the period under review, the exports of attained the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, exports of cutlery; other than plated with precious metals surged to $992K in 2022. In general, exports recorded significant growth. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
