The average import price for electronic integrated circuits and microassemblieses stood at $27.7 per unit in May 2023, waning by -6.2% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated a pronounced increase from May 2022 to May 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.2% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on May 2023 figures, electronic integrated circuits and microassemblies import price decreased by -32.6% against February 2023 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in January 2023 an increase of 50% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $41.1 per unit in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to May 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In May 2023, the country with the highest price was France ($59.8 per unit), while the price for Italy ($4.0 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From May 2022 to May 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+19.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average export price for electronic integrated circuits and microassemblieses amounted to $11 per unit, declining by -57.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price saw a abrupt shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 73%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $62 per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($1.6 per unit), while the average price for exports to Sweden (less than $0.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
