In June 2023, the average multiple-walled insulating glass unit import price amounted to $36.7 per square meter, shrinking by -20.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated a noticeable increase from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.1% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, multiple-walled insulating glass unit import price decreased by -20.8% against May 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 186% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $46.7 per square meter in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from Turkey ($43.0 per square meter) and Switzerland ($40.6 per square meter), while the price for Poland ($29.4 per square meter) and France ($30.6 per square meter) were amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Switzerland (+5.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average multiple-walled insulating glass unit export price stood at $101 per square meter in June 2023, surging by 26% against the previous month. Overall, export price indicated measured growth from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.0% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, multiple-walled insulating glass unit export price decreased by -15.3% against February 2023 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 54% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $119 per square meter. From March 2023 to June 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was France ($186 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Poland ($74.8 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Austria (+16.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
