In November 2023, the average export price for offal, edible; of swine, (other than livers), frozen amounted to $1,673 per ton, surging by 11% against the previous month. In general, the export price enjoyed modest growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2023 an increase of 306% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $3,877 per ton. From March 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was the Philippines ($1,973 per ton), while the average price for exports to Vietnam ($871 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Congo (+10.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for offal, edible; of swine, (other than livers), frozen stood at $2,669 per ton in 2022, rising by 2.1% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a notable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the average import price increased by 32%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Croatia ($9,840 per ton), while the price for Hungary ($1,247 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Croatia (+13.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
