In November 2023, the average export price for offal, edible; of swine, (other than livers), frozen amounted to $1,895 per ton, rising by 3.6% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 an increase of 7.5% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $2,116 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to November 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($2,368 per ton), while the average price for exports to Germany ($314 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to South Korea (+5.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In November 2023, the average import price for offal, edible; of swine, (other than livers), frozen amounted to $904 per ton, falling by -3.1% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 29% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $1,184 per ton. From February 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($1,920 per ton), while the price for Finland ($503 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+6.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
