The average export price for plants, live; unrooted cuttings and slipses stood at $235 per thousand units in October 2023, surging by 23% against the previous month. In general, the export price saw measured growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in December 2022 when the average export price increased by 138% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $795 per thousand units in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to October 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was France ($1.2 per unit), while the average price for exports to Germany ($215 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+21.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
