The average export price for steel, alloy stood at $733 per ton in November 2023, remaining constant against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 7.9% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $773 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to November 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was India ($1,071 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bangladesh ($565 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From February 2023 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (+2.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
