Over the period from October 2022 to October 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +4.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 33% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $12,081 per ton. From February 2023 to October 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was South Korea ($41,357 per ton), while the price for China ($1,432 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Switzerland (+12.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $14,299 per ton. From July 2023 to October 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Uzbekistan ($21,738 per ton), while the average price for exports to Turkey ($7,668 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Moldova (+13.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
