Radiator Price in Russia (CIF) - 2022
The average radiator import price stood at $2,527 per ton in 2021, growing by 46% against the previous year. Over the last nine years, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.6%. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($6,619 per ton), while the price for Belarus ($1,486 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+8.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Radiator Price in Russia (FOB) - 2022
In 2021, the average radiator export price amounted to $2,466 per ton, growing by 32% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a perceptible descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average export price increased by 55% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $3,858 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kazakhstan ($3,142 per ton), while the average price for exports to China ($1,729 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kyrgyzstan (+6.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Radiator Imports in Russia
In 2022, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in supplies from abroad of radiators for central heating (not electrically heated), when their volume increased by 24% to 50K tons. In general, imports, however, saw a drastic downturn.
In value terms, radiator imports totaled $103M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a abrupt contraction.

Radiator Exports in Russia
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was decline in overseas shipments of radiators for central heating (not electrically heated), when their volume decreased by -4.2% to 10K tons. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +4.4% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed in certain years. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 9.3%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 11K tons, and then declined slightly in the following year.
In value terms, radiator exports dropped significantly to $22M in 2022. Overall, total exports indicated a resilient expansion from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +9.3% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +30.5% against 2019 indices.
