The second position in the ranking was held by the UK ($2.8B), with a 5.4% share of global imports. It was followed by Germany, with a 5.1% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in the United States totaled -5.0%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the UK (-1.3% per year) and Germany (-6.7% per year).
