In 2022, the amount of pineapples exported in Africa rose markedly to X tons, growing by X% on 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a perceptible curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Cote d'Ivoire (X tons) and Kenya (X tons) represented the largest exporters of pineapples in Africa, together making up X% of total exports.
