In value terms, coffee extract exports reduced modestly to $X in 2023. Malaysia (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Vietnam (X%), India (X%), South Korea (X%) and Thailand (X%). The following exporters - Japan (X tons) and Timor-Leste (X tons) - each amounted to a X% share of total exports.
Exports from Indonesia increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Timor-Leste (X%), Vietnam (X%), Japan (X%), India (X%) and Malaysia (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Timor-Leste emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Asia-Pacific, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. South Korea experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Timor-Leste, with a CAGR of X%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
In 2023, the export price in Asia-Pacific amounted to $X per ton, falling by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2022 when the export price increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices attained the peak figure at $X per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was India ($X per ton), while Indonesia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
