In general, consumption, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2022 with an increase of X%. Cereal Flour Exports

Exports in the EU

In 2023, after two years of growth, there was decline in shipments abroad of cereal flours, when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. In general, exports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2022 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2023, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, cereal flour exports amounted to $X in 2023. Total exports indicated moderate growth from 2012 to 2023: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last eleven years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2023 figures, exports increased by X% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2022 when exports increased by X%. The level of export peaked in 2023 and is likely to continue growth in the near future.

Exports by Country

In 2023, Germany (X tons) represented the main exporter of cereal flours, committing X% of total exports. Italy (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Belgium (X%), France (X%) and Hungary (X%). The following exporters - Poland (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons), Spain (X tons), Slovakia (X tons), Austria (X tons) and Portugal (X tons) - together made up X% of total exports.

The export price in the European Union stood at $X per ton in 2023, increasing by X% against the previous year. Export price indicated a temperate increase from 2012 to 2023: its price increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last eleven-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2023 figures, cereal flour export price increased by X% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2022 when the export price increased by X%.
