As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Exports by Country
The shipments of the three major exporters of non-medical x-rays, namely Germany, Italy and France, represented more than half of total export. It was distantly followed by the Netherlands (X units), Denmark (X units), Finland (X units), Ireland (X units) and the Czech Republic (X units), together achieving a X% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2023, the biggest increases were recorded for Ireland (with a CAGR of X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by X%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2021 to 2023, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, non-medical x-ray imports soared to $X in 2023. Total imports indicated a buoyant increase from 2012 to 2023: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last eleven-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2023 figures, imports increased by X% against 2020 indices.
