Man-Made Filament Yarn Exports

Exports in the EU

After six years of decline, overseas shipments of man-made filament yarn increased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports, however, saw a noticeable contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, man-made filament yarn exports rose significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a slight decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports by Country

The Czech Republic represented the key exporter of man-made filament yarn in the European Union, with the volume of exports recording X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Italy (X tons), Belgium (X tons), Germany (X tons), Hungary (X tons) and France (X tons), together generating a X% share of total exports. Spain (X tons) held a relatively small share of total exports.

The Czech Republic was also the fastest-growing in terms of the man-made filament yarn exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2022. Hungary and Spain experienced a relatively flat trend pattern.
