In 2022, overseas shipments of computing machinery and parts and accessories thereof decreased by X% to X units, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, computing machinery exports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, total exports indicated strong growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2015 indices. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

The Netherlands (X units), Germany (X units) and the United States (X units) were the main destinations of computing machinery exports from Hungary, together accounting for X% of total exports. Romania, the UK, Italy, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Turkey, Japan, Spain and Poland lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.
