In 2022, Israel (X units) was the major exporter of electrical capacitors, comprising X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Turkey (X units), mixing up a X% share of total exports. The United Arab Emirates (X units) and Morocco (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Exports from Israel decreased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Turkey (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Turkey emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in MENA, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Morocco experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Export price indicated a slight increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in purchases abroad of electrical capacitors, when their volume decreased by X% to X units. Overall, imports, however, recorded a buoyant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units, and then reduced in the following year.
In value terms, capacitor imports rose markedly to $X in 2022. Total imports indicated temperate growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by X% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by X%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

Israel represented the largest importer of electrical capacitors in MENA, with the volume of imports accounting for X units, which was near X% of total imports in 2022. Turkey (X units) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Egypt (X units) and Tunisia (X units). All these countries together held near X% share of total imports. Algeria (X units) and Iran (X units) held a relatively small share of total imports.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when the import price increased by X%. The level of import peaked at $X per thousand units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Iran ($X per thousand units), while Israel ($X per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
