For the third consecutive year, Norway recorded decline in shipments abroad of corrugated paper and paperboard, which decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, corrugated paper exports shrank remarkably to $X in 2022. In general, exports faced a deep downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. In value terms, corrugated paper imports dropped significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of X%.
