Exports from Spain

In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas shipments of leather, when their volume decreased by X% to X square meters. Over the period under review, exports faced a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The exports peaked at X square meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, leather exports reached $X in 2022. In general, exports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
