Bismuth Exports

Exports

After four years of growth, overseas shipments of bismuth decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, total exports indicated pronounced growth from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2017 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons, and then shrank dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, bismuth exports declined remarkably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded a pronounced contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the global exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

China represented the largest exporter of bismuth in the world, with the volume of exports amounting to X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. Vietnam (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, followed by the Netherlands (X tons), Belgium (X tons) and South Korea (X tons). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total exports. The United States (X tons) and Germany (X tons) took a relatively small share of total exports.
