The export price in Africa stood at $X per unit in 2023, picking up by X% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of X%. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2023, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Egypt ($X per unit), while Ghana ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Egypt (X%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

Imports in Africa

In 2023, imports of non-electric bakery ovens in Africa soared to X units, jumping by X% compared with the previous year. Overall, imports saw a remarkable increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of X%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2019 to 2023, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
