Imports by Country

Senegal represented the key importer of sulphur in ECOWAS, with the volume of imports recording X tons, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2023. Benin (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Niger (X%) and Guinea (X%). Nigeria (X tons) held a minor share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to sulphur imports into Senegal stood at X%. At the same time, Nigeria (X%) and Benin (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
