The average apple juice export price stood at $1,863 per ton in September 2023, rising by 60% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In September 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Australia ($2,072 per ton) and Taiwan (Chinese) ($1,963 per ton), while the average price for exports to Hong Kong SAR ($1,596 per ton) and China ($1,823 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to China (+4.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average apple juice import price stood at $1,621 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 2.3% against the previous year. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 an increase of 33% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1,705 per ton. From 2016 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries.
