The average export price for frozen boneless cuts of bovine meat stood at $4,305 per ton in November 2023, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 4.4% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $4,346 per ton in July 2023; afterwards, it flattened through to November 2023.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Azerbaijan ($5,263 per ton), while the average price for exports to Uzbekistan ($2,650 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Azerbaijan (+0.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

In November 2023, the average import price for frozen boneless cuts of bovine meat amounted to $5,729 per ton, picking up by 12% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated noticeable growth from December 2022 to November 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +3.9% over the last eleven-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on November 2023 figures, import price for frozen boneless cuts of bovine meat increased by +12.3% against October 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 74% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $6,318 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Argentina ($8,916 per ton), while the price for Germany ($4,660 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Argentina (+5.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
