Net Fabric Market Size in South-Eastern Asia

In 2023, the Southeast Asian net fabric market increased by X% to $X, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. The total consumption indicated a perceptible expansion from 2012 to 2023: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last eleven-year period. Exports in South-Eastern Asia

After two years of growth, shipments abroad of tulles and other net fabrics decreased by X% to X tons in 2023. Overall, exports, however, saw a moderate expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2023, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, net fabric exports reached $X in 2023. In general, exports, however, posted pronounced growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2023, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports by Country

In 2023, Vietnam (X tons) was the largest exporter of tulles and other net fabrics, mixing up X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Indonesia (X tons), generating a X% share of total exports. The following exporters - Singapore (X tons) and Thailand (X tons) - together made up X% of total exports.

Vietnam was also the fastest-growing in terms of the tulles and other net fabrics exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2023. Singapore (X%), Indonesia (X%) and Thailand (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of X% against the previous year. Imports in South-Eastern Asia

Net fabric imports declined modestly to X tons in 2023, which is down by X% compared with 2022 figures. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed measured growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2019 to 2023, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, net fabric imports fell to $X in 2023. Total imports indicated a temperate expansion from 2012 to 2023: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last eleven years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2023 figures, imports increased by X% against 2021 indices. Vietnam was the major importer of tulles and other net fabrics in South-Eastern Asia, with the volume of imports reaching X tons, which was near X% of total imports in 2023. Indonesia (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Myanmar (X%). Thailand (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to net fabric imports into Vietnam stood at X%. At the same time, Myanmar (X%), Thailand (X%) and Indonesia (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Myanmar emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in South-Eastern Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023.
