Tea Market Size in Lithuania

Moreover, tea exports to Poland exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Latvia (X tons), more than tenfold. The third position in this ranking was held by the UK (X tons), with a X% share.
From 2012 to 2023, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Poland amounted to X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Latvia (X% per year) and the UK (X% per year).
In value terms, the largest markets for tea exported from Lithuania were Poland ($X), Russia ($X) and the UK ($X), with a combined X% share of total exports. Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine and Belarus lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
Ukraine, with a CAGR of X%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.

From 2012 to 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (X%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Lithuania
Tea imports into Lithuania dropped modestly to X tons in 2023, leveling off at 2022. In general, imports recorded a deep slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of X%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2023, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, tea imports rose significantly to $X in 2023. Over the period under review, imports saw a noticeable contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2023, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Imports by Country
Poland (X tons), Sri Lanka (X tons) and Latvia (X tons) were the main suppliers of tea imports to Lithuania, together comprising X% of total imports. Germany, China, Denmark, Vietnam and Russia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.
From 2012 to 2023, the biggest increases were recorded for Denmark (with a CAGR of X%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced a decline.
