World Imports of Amplifiers

In 2022, the United States (16M units), distantly followed by India (5.5M units), Poland (5.3M units), Indonesia (4.2M units) and Germany (3.8M units) represented the major importers of amplifiers, together generating 44% of total imports. Singapore (3.5M units), the UK (2.8M units), China (2.5M units), Malaysia (2.2M units), Vietnam (2M units), the Philippines (2M units), the Netherlands (1.9M units) and Mexico (1.9M units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

By contrast, Mexico (-4.7%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Poland, India, Singapore, Indonesia, Germany, the Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia increased by +6.1, +5.6, +3, +3, +2.8, +2.1, +2.1 and +1.6 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the United States ($1.2B) constitutes the largest market for imported amplifiers worldwide, comprising 23% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Germany ($454M), with an 8.9% share of global imports. It was followed by China, with a 6.5% share.
