Headphone Price in Poland (CIF) - 2023

The average headphone import price stood at $67.1 per unit in August 2023, surging by 17% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a noticeable decrease. The import price peaked at $90.6 per unit in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to August 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($536 per unit), while the price for China ($31.6 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovakia (+7.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Headphone Price in Poland (FOB) - 2022

The average headphone export price stood at $25 per unit in 2022, dropping by -46.4% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a noticeable decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 72% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $59 per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($101 per unit), while the average price for exports to Latvia ($5.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+10.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Headphone Imports in Poland

Headphone imports into Poland expanded modestly to 17M units in 2022, with an increase of 2.7% compared with the previous year's figure. In general, imports saw significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 81% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, headphone imports dropped to $535M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 61% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $611M in 2021, and then declined in the following year.

Headphone Exports in Poland

For the fourth consecutive year, Poland recorded growth in overseas shipments of headphones, which increased by 41% to 17M units in 2022. Overall, exports recorded a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 135%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, headphone exports fell dramatically to $423M in 2022. In general, exports recorded significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 124% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $561M in 2021, and then contracted rapidly in the following year.
