Oil Crops Price in Uzbekistan (CIF) - 2022
The average oil crops import price stood at $504 per ton in 2022, picking up by 7.9% against the previous year. Overall, the import price posted a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 54% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($982 per ton), while the price for Ukraine ($249 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Kazakhstan (+12.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average oil crops export price stood at $920 per ton in 2022, which is down by -6.7% against the previous year. Over the period from 2017 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +4.9%. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 32% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $986 per ton in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.
