The average export price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds stood at $1,220 per ton in 2022, which is down by -37.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when the average export price increased by 32% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $1,960 per ton in 2021, and then reduced dramatically in the following year.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,319 per ton), while the average price for exports to Japan amounted to $900 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+11.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, overseas shipments of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds increased by 133% to 71 tons for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year declining trend. In general, exports, however, showed a deep slump.
In value terms, exports of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds skyrocketed to $87K in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a sharp downturn.
